How do I find an independent client support officer?
If you have an appointment with WIJeindhoven, a family member or friend can always be present. Would you be more comfortable having someone present who has more knowledge and experience in a specific area? You can engage the services of an independent client support officer. There is no charge for this.
An independent client support officer can:
• inform you of all the options in your situation;
• help you make difficult decisions;
• mediate during application or objection procedures.
This leaflet lists all the independent client support officers (organisations and professionals)(only in Dutch). You can get in touch with them directly.
The leaflet was put together by the Cliëntenraad Sociale Zaken, de SW-raad GRWRE/Ergon en de Participatiecommissie Welzijn, Wonen en Zorg.
If you have any questions about independent client support, you can also ask your contact at WIJeindhoven.
Where can I go for a second opinion?
Following a conversation with, and advice about specialist support from, a WIJeindhoven staff member (generalist), a resident might feel the need for a second opinion. The generalist can arrange this, or the resident can also put forward an expert.
