The size of your household can change in the course of the year. For example, if you divorce and continue to live alone in your current home, or if your partner moves permanently to a care home. In such cases, you can apply for a reduction in taxes. You can do that at the digital tax portal under the heading 'lodge an objection'. Would you rather do this by post? Send your application to Gemeente Eindhoven, Belastingen, Postbus 90150, 5600 RB Eindhoven.
Can I lodge an objection?
Certainly. If you disagree with the bill, you can lodge an objection. You will however have to pay the bill. If your objection is accepted, the amount you paid will be transferred to your bank account. For more information, go to challenging a tax bill.
