How do I apply for a disabled parking space?
To apply for a disabled parking space, first print out the form below (in Dutch). Fill in the form, sign it and send it, enclosing the necessary documentation, to Gemeente Eindhoven, RE Vergunningen / Parkeren, Postbus 90150, 5600 RB Eindhoven. The necessary documentation is:
- A copy of your valid identity document
- The disabled driver's parking permit
- A copy of the vehicle registration document, Part 1 or in the case of the new plastic card, a copy of the front and back of the card.

You will receive our decision by post at your home address within 12 weeks of us having received your application. Do you disagree with the decision?Lodge an objection. The duration of the whole process is dependent on payment being received, any objections being dealt with and the planning of the contractor.
How much does it cost to apply for a disabled parking space?
The application for a disabled parking space is free of charge. If your application is approved, you will be charged for the installation or for any changes you might want made.
Installation of a disabled parking space
The complete installation of a disabled parking space costs 484.68 euros. The charges and payment method are explained in the letter containing the decision.
If you subsequently want to make any changes, the following charges apply:

I cannot afford these charges. What should I do?
Is your income too low, according to the standards, to allow you to pay these charges? You may request that we pay them. Indicate this on the application form and enclose bank statements from the last three months. To be eligible, you may earn up to 20% above the social security benefit level. The exact amounts are listed below:

I am moving house. Can the disabled parking space be moved too?
Yes, certainly. Notify us that you are moving house using the same form as the one you use to apply for a disabled parking space. Indicate on the form that it concerns moving house and state clearly your current address and the new address. Either post the form or hand it in at the desk at Inwonersplein. You will find more information in the section 'How do I apply for a disabled parking space?'.
The signs for your disabled parking space will be moved to your new address.
I have a new vehicle registration. How do I notify you of that?
Has the vehicle registration been changed, or have you bought a new car? Notify us of your new vehicle registration. Do that by:
- Make an appointment to come to Residents Plaza.
- Make sure you have your identity document and vehicle registration with you
- Pay the fee with your debit card
- We will issue you with a letter of proof, stating both the old and the new vehicle registrations. When you park on the disabled parking space, display this letter in your windscreen.
We will ask the contractor to make the necessary modifications. They will be given three weeks in which to complete the work. The letter we give you is valid for one month.

I no longer need a disabled parking space. How do I notify you of that?
If you no longer need a disabled parking space, you may notify us by email to email@example.com
You may also inform us by letter. Send the letter to Gemeente Eindhoven, RE Vergunningen / Parkeren, Postbus 90150, 5600 RB Eindhoven.
There is no charge for removing a disabled parking space.
