Lodging an objection to a municipal decision

Do you disagree with a municipal decision, for example the refusal to grant a permit? You can lodge an objection online within 6 weeks. That time starts on the first day following the date the decision was sent. You can lodge your objection up to and including the last day of the time limit, but after that, your objection will no longer be admissible.

Step by step

  1. You lodge your objection.
  2. You receive acknowledgement of receipt.
  3. You are invited for a hearing, if necessary.
  4. You will receive notification of the decision within 12 weeks. This time limit can be extended.
  5. If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal to the court.
