This information booklet explains which personal data is recorded in the Basis Register of Persons and for which purposes it is used. We will list your rights and obligations. The booklet also contains information for those arriving from abroad for an extended stay in the Netherlands.

The municipality of Eindhoven issues different types of extracts (or copies):
Extract from the BRP and Certificate of Good Conduct
Extract from the Register of births, deaths, marriages and registered partnerships
Every major life event (such as birth, marriage, partnership registration, divorce or death) is registered with a certificate issued by the Registry Office. A certificate is drawn up only once for each life event. You can only obtain a copy of the certificate (extract from the register) from the municipality of Eindhoven if the event took place in Eindhoven.
